Easy Balsamic Maple Brussel Sprouts

For some reason, everyone seems to hate brussel sprouts, but I promise after trying this recipe you, along with any other brussel-sprout haters will have no problems eating brusssel sprouts. Actually, you'll enjoy them.



Ingredients:

~825 g brussels sprouts (cut in half)

1 Tbsp olive oil

2 Tbsp maple syrup

2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar

dash salt and pepper

* Makes about 6 servings (~110 calories per serving)

Steps:

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

2. In a ziplock bag, combine all ingredients, and shake to evenly distribute seasoning. Let marinate (refrigerated) while oven reaches 400 degrees.

3. Cook at 400 degrees for 33-36 minutes.

4. Season with additional salt and pepper (to taste), and enjoy!


Yes, I did make this around Easter time, I just didn't end up posting the recipe until May.
